Food Safety level 2

The standard for those involved in food retail, preparation, manufacturing  and catering. Food Safety Level 2 provides the key to ensure that all food you prepare is safe for customers to eat.

This course covers:

  • The basics of food preparation

  • Regulations in food preparation

  • HACCP and Health & Safety

  • Precautions and care

  • Storage

  • Infections

  • Cross-contamination

  • Reporting

  • PPE

  • Date marking

  • Reporting illness

  • Basic First Aid in kitchens

In addition to the IPS Safety Training certificate (quality assured by Pro-training) learners receive a CPD statement.
